Odelya
Odelya

Try her. Not a bad tone in her. She just happens to have a myriad of good ones.
Only $175.
Though Odelya offers many subtle tonal nuances, the foundation of this pedal is good overdrive, and plenty of it. She can drive hard, but she cleans up good too. It just sounds good. The only question becomes, “Which good do I want today?”
This song was recorded using Odelya on every guitar track. The white module was installed and different modes and settings were used for each tone. The wah on the lead guitar was a Morley Bad Horsie 2 and a Boss DD-6 delay was used on the guitar solo track. These parts were all played on a Chellee Model I with DiMarzio pickups. Also, there are several parts that are doubled and panned hard with different pedal settings. Be sure to listen to both the left and right channels separately for further comparison.

These sample clips were recorded by Chris Peters using his Chellee Model I and a Fender MIM Road-worn Strat run through a Peavey JSX head. There was no other gear used in line. It is worth noting that the stock pickups in the Strat are quite noisy and produce some 60 cycle hum. This noise is not generated by the pedal, though Odelya does amplify the pickup noise.
Clean Boost 1 - Strat middle and bridge pickups. This mode is the middle position on the white module or with no module installed.
Clean Boost 2 - Strat neck pickup. This mode is the middle position on the white module or with no module installed.
Yellow module mode 1 - Strat neck pickup.
Yellow module mode 3 - Strat neck pickup.
Red module mode 1 - Chellee Model I bridge pickup (DiMarzio Air Zone). This is also the right position (mode 3) on the white module.
Blue module mode 1 - Strat neck pickup.
Blue module mode 3 - Strat middle and bridge pickups.
Green module mode 1 - Strat neck pickup. This is an example of one of the odd tones the green module produces. It’s combination of germanium and other diodes produce a strange “broken” tone when the guitar’s volume is turned down low. All three modes in this module will generate similar effects.
Green module mode 3 - Strat neck pickup. This is a more traditional fuzz type tone. Again all three modes in this module will produce similar results with slightly different tonal color.
